Summary
| Through music we learn to become storytellers! This introductory course welcomes students with little to no strings experience for both violin and cello. Learn basic sight-reading skills, ear-training exercises, practice scales, and explore different musical styles such as classical and fiddle tunes. These lessons can be catered to individual students’ interests. Students will be able to identify parts of their instrument and properly hold their bow and violin or cello; be able to play beginner level songs by using basic music comprehension skills; and utilize their newfound musical skills to continue on as musicians in the community. |
